We are thrilled to share that Embers, our fine dinning restaurant at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is ready to welcome you exclusively Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, with two seating times available at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Our elevated dining experience offers a four-course and seven-course menu, with an option to add a unique wine pairing to both dinners.

Pricing begins at $99 per person* for the four-course dinner and $179 per person* for the seven-course dinner.

Wine Pairing courses can be purchased through the experiences section.

Please include any dietary restrictions while making your reservation. The menu may change to accommodate use of fresh, local products.

*A 20% service charge will be added to all bills.

The Embers at Tenaya Lodge reservation was made a month before Christmas Day and never was a buffet mentioned in the reservation nor notification to confirm the reservation. To our surprise, a buffet was the only option and the food was not worth the $67/person plus 22% automatic tip. We waited 30 minutes for the server to bring water. Ambiance was basically not what I expected for Christmas dinner either. The hotel set up as many tables as possible in the convention room. Not the food, service or ambience I expected. Total blindside and misleading through OpenTable, the restaurant and hotel.

The Thanksgiving buffet in the grand ballroom was as beautiful as can be. Service was friendly, the music perfect, and the food was delicious and bountiful.

We went to Bass Lake last year for Thanksgiving. This year to Tenaya Lodge. Tenaya was far superior. It wasn't just a buffet, it was a fine dining experience. The harp music was an excellent choice also. Will do it again!

My family and I loved everything about Embers. The food. The warm welcoming from our host/waitress. The coziness dinning area. My hubby and I did the wine paring and it was great. Everything was amazing and delicious. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

I was excited to experience an excellent meal for a special weekend, but we ended up disappointed with our experience. Service was great, but everything else was off. The dining room was awkwardly quiet, with tables too close to the other two couples in a room for at least 12 tables. Food was sub-par for the cost. Portions were small and unfulfilling, and the substitutes for my wife’s egg intolerance were not reasonable other options. The menu was confusing, and didn’t pair well as a whole. The wine pairings were appropriate, though. All in all, if I’m spending that much on a higher level of dining experience, I expect more.

Fantastic elevated dining experience. The wait staff and sommelier were exceptionally attentive and gave detailed explanations of the plates and wines served to accompany each course.

The restaurant was quiet and somber. I would have preferred a more energetic ambiance. Also, it was freezing! Arctic cold like of freezing. Everyone was shivering. The food was excellent, but the portions were very small. I don’t think this was worth the price. The staff was excellent. Very attentive, polite and took care of what we needed with drinks, etc. I did ask to be moved to a warmer table closer to the fireplace or a warmer section of the dining room, but I was denied. Yet, another guest was allowed to do so. That was unfair given there were only 4 tables accepted the entire time we were there. I would not purchase this dining experience again. Too cold, too somber and dull, and the price was as not worth it.

Great service as they were very attentive to our needs. Chef made a last minute delicious sea bass dish for me as I am allergic to crab and that was one of the courses. The only disappointment was the prime rib as it was undercooked and too chewy. Unless you really like wine I would pass on the wine pairing and opt for a bottle or cocktail.
