Created Tom Hill and Clare Lattin of Ducksoup in Soho and Little Duck in Hackney, Emilia is their version of a small Italian Osteria (transported to the Devonshire countryside) serving seasonal, everyday Italian inspired dishes using locally grown ingredients. Tom oversees the menu and together they cook and share a love for Italian food and natural wine. The dining room is hosted by Lucy Mastroddi and Paul Seckler along with Alice Phillips.

A delicious authentic Korean set menu, cooked with love and served alongside natural wine. Location : Emilia, Ashburton 3 course set menu price is £35. Drink list is available on arrival. Although this menu is already Gluten Free, please note that it will include pork and chicken and we are unable to accommodate any other dietary requests.

Our second visit again didn’t disappoint would definitely recommend to anyone that likes Italian food freshly made in front of you Will be trying their sister French Restuarant soon

Our third year in the row visiting Emelia at the start of January. The menu never disappoints with beautiful Italian dishes. Drinks are always excellent. Service great, very friendly and welcoming for us and our little dog.

We arrived early and were offered a corner table rather than counter top, which suited us fine. The staff couldn't be more helpful, the food was delicious and the ambience was lovely. Such a happy place to have an early supper before a night out.

We had our first meal at Emilias yeaterday for my partners early Birthday treat and we were absolutely thrilled with everything! This really is an eating 'experience ' with the open kitchen and rustic vibe and we can honestly say, the food was absolutely divine, prepared with skill, care and fresh ingredients!! The service was welcoming, the ambience relaxed and calm and we really felt we had been transported to a little eatery in Italy, we will absolutely be coming back. Huge thanks to the team for making this a special experience for us!

Loved everything about our time in Emilia, the food was exceptional as were the two front of house staff who managed the restaurant so competently throughout service. Highlights in no particular order: vermouth, ragu, pumpkin. Thank you so much

Great food but the price of wine was exhorbitant - the least expensive being £42 for an Umbrian Syrah. I understand the need to mark up wine but 500%? You could at least offer a decent house red at a more reasonable price.
