We're a bit like our hometown: sophisticated, well-traveled, but grounded in our roots. We believe there's nothing more important than taking time to dine well with family and friends in a beautiful space. And we have a passion for all things Bluegrass - curing our meats in-house, supporting the region's diverse farming and food community, and keeping a local-first mindset in everything we do. Epping's is located in a renovated historic building that once held Epping Bottling Works, home to the hustle and spirit of local entrepreneur John G. Epping. Today, we are proud to honor that history and be part of the energy of downtown Lexington's Warehouse Block.

                                                                      I want to say that the server was fine and in know way was she responsible for our poor experience. I ordered the steak and eggs and asked that the steak be well done. The steak was medium at best. The fabric on the chairs was covered in stains lending to an air overall feel of uncleanliness.

                                                                      I find it hard to give a five star rating because to me that takes something beyond what you should expect. This place is good, very good. The duck was killer and I really like that they did not try to crowd every possible table into the space. You can actually move around your table. Everything we had was perfectly cooked and imaginative.

The food was delicious and at a cost that was very reasonable. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and drink’s. Definitely will be back.

                                                                      We always have a great time at Eppings! This birthday celebration with 8 people was wonderful as well. Food was delicious and service was great. We did miss out on the entree specials for a 7:30 reservation, this is the only thing we were disappointed with. Can’t wait to go back !

                                                                      We usually try to sit at the bar and always look forward to talking to Tyler and getting his recommendations on different wines, but he was off last night. Everyone behind the bar was so accommodating and just as knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the evening as we always do. The menu has changed a little bit, but we always stick with the burnt ends and the brussels sprouts because they are out of this world good.
