Essensia Restaurant & Bar, located in the iconic and historic The Palms Hotel & Spa, presents seasonally-inspired, mindfully-sourced Mediterranean-style cuisine with Asian influences. Healthfully-prepared dishes made from premium, local and sustainably farmed ingredients cater to a variety of dietary preferences, including gluten free and vegan. Handcrafted cocktails and a carefully selected wine list complete the experience in a tropical and casually elegant indoor-outdoor ambiance that feels worlds away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Recently re-opened following a complete interior re-design and new menus by Chef Diana Tandia, the Slow Food Snail of Approval and Surfrider Foundation Ocean Friendly Restaurant honored eatery has recently been awarded ‘Best Outdoor Dining’ and ‘Best Healthy Dining’ in OpenTable’s 2024 Diners’ Choice Awards.

Very enjoyable dinner. Food was very good; service was excellent. We sat indoors because it was a windy evening, and the ambiance was pleasant.

This is such a fantastic dining experience. All the food is locally sourced. The menu is well thought out. They were very attentive and educated to help with my celiac. An amazing experience that I would highly recommend.

The food was disappointing. Our server tried to compensate by his service. The food didn't match the description in the menu. For what we paid, it was of very low quality. I'm definitely never going back

Indoor dining at Essencia is elegant yet relaxing. Surrounded by beautiful decor and hospitality. Our server, Lilia, was gracious and fun. The meal was exceptional and the artistic presentation made the experience even more enjoyable. Already look forward to the next time.

We were very disappointed with our brunch after enjoying many brunches and dinners in previous years. I asked for a soft omelette, it came to the table hard and unseasoned. One of us ordered steak and eggs, steak medium, but steak came to table well done. Service was excellent, but food was below average and poor value given the prices.

Oh my goodness. The ambiance of Essensia is stunning. The staff so attentive and efficient. One entree with a starter and two sides as well two drinks was almost $200. Tthe food was prepared perfectly, absolutely delicious and the farm to table freshness was obvious. A Miami secret.
