One of the most celebrated restaurants in the United States, Estela is an intimate downtown bistro from chef Ignacio Mattos that can be experienced in many ways, whether it’s a thrilling dinner in the dining room, a leisurely weekend brunch with friends, or a late-night drink at the bustling bar. The food and service at Estela was excellent. Staff were all attentive and friendly. Plates were great for sharing and the menu, though not large, provided an excellent variety of foods and flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the Endive salad was the all star! Truly a must have.

Great staff, server, somm Christian nailed it and Jose who brought a lot of our dishes was super friendly, gave the perfect instructions and descriptions of each plate. My second time at Estela and is a must visit every trip to NYC. Thank you - Bryan M.

First time at Estela and completely agree with the many glowing reviews. The food was inventive and delicious. The staff was born personable and knowledgeable. Great wine list. Terrific room. Glad to be there for a leisurely lunch so we could enjoy the space. All around wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The service by the staff was exceptional and our server, James was top notch. We will definitely return.

We love to travel and eat great food and this is probably one of the best places we’ve eaten in NYC. We got the scallops, fried rice, ricotta dumplings and chocolate cake. It was all incredible! The service was also outstanding.
