First I had to change my reservations to a later time. That was pleasantly accomplished. When we walked in two ladies from the bakery greeted us with smiles and gave us specific directions to reach the dining area hostess. We were seated With ease and grace. Anna who I can't say enough about is a gem to the hostess community. Her excellent service skills are the best especially in this day and time when good service is hard to come by. Anna excels and truly enjoys putting smiles upon peoples faces. She really knows how to cater to the needs of the consumer. Phillip, the manager, steps in to helps his team as any good manager would do. He took the time to stop at our table to speak with us when I wanted to tell him about Anna'sprofessional service. John, the owner, was polite and humbe as well. He was such a pleasure to speak with. We never had to ask for anything. The servers ensured our water glasses stayed full, the bread was soft with marinated olive oil, the food was fresh and light. Though I was full my stomach did not feel like it was overstuffed with heavy traditional food. Everything was cooked to perfection ... everything!!! I will definitely be back for my next experience at Estiatorio Plaka. Thank you, Anna, Phillip, John, and all the other employees you are a well oiled machine who truly cares and knows how to please your customers. I have no complaints!!! So thank you all for your EXCELLENT customer service skills!!!

Our table of 4 was attended to quickly and friendly. All four of us loved the food served. Prices were reasonable and we were given a free dessert to share. Only negative was the parking lot across the street towed our car while we were dining. We used to be able to park there after bank hours but failed to see the sign telling us we would be towed. This was not the restaurants fault but perhaps they could post a sign on the entrance door to warn cutomers.

Our meals were excellent! Our server was very friendly and attentive. The decor is very nice and it is not too loud, so you can hear the conversation at your table. This is our second time there and we will be back.

Great brunch in a nice atmosphere. Had the sparkling wine charcuterie board—bottle of sparkling orange paleokerisio wine with a large plate of cheeses, meats, olives, fruit and preserves—a pretty presentation. But the star was the fried chicken and loukoumades, a Greek nod to chicken and waffles. The chicken was excellent, juicy and not too heavily breaded, and the loukoumades—fried donut holes with fantastic Greek honey—were hot, light and sweet. We have been several times to Estiatorio Plaka and have always enjoyed it. We will definitely go back.

This is a great option for Mediterranean food. It’s a little out of the way on the far East side of Baltimore in Greektown, but we’ll orthotics the trip. The parking in the surrounding area is tight and there is no valet option at the restaurant. The main dining room is modern chic and nicely done. The one drawback to the space in a low ceiling that magnifies the noise levels from regular conversations to very high levels. The main dining room is also packed in tightly with very little room between tables. The host tried to seat my wife and I at the tables near the bar (despite our own reservation) while saying the main dining room was booked solid. He “found” 1 available table in the dining room when asked for a better option. The appetizers (grilled octopus & crab balls) were outstanding. Bread service never arrived, but the wait staff made it happen when reminded about it. The entrees (lamb chops & lavraki) were also excellent. Try the very good Greek wines instead a familiar label. Dessert was very sweet, but that is par for the course with authentic Greek options. We checked out the bakery that is attached to the restaurant before leaving and decided to order extra “homemade” desserts to enjoy the next day.

Our server was so sweet & attentive - spot was beautiful & pretty quiet for a Sunday afternoon brunch. Food was fresh & big portions for the price. Would have liked the Shakshuka to be a bit more seasoned or complex I have tried many and it was really just tomato & egg. Was also hoping to have a plethora of Tzatziki/Dips but had to keep asking for it at all. I also noted we were celebrating a birthday on the reservation but it was not recognized. Overall would definitely go back to maybe try dinner.
