From Chef Srijith Gopinathan and restaurateur Ayesha Thapar, the creators of Ettan, Copra and Little Blue Door, Eylan offers seasonally-driven Cal-Indian cuisine centered around a wood-fired grill, with thoughtfully sourced produce and a variety of proteins cooked over the embers and served alongside clever riffs on traditional breads from different regions of India. The bar program by West-Bev and Christopher Longoria draws upon the kaleidoscope of ingredients and techniques that make up global cocktail culture, while also taking inspiration from the culinary traditions of India. Wine director Andre Sydnor's program offers depth in classic regions like Burgundy, Champagne, Piedmont, and California, offering a variety of options for casual wine lovers while including more exclusive selections for serious oenophiles.

    Our parking is located beneath the restaurant in a parking garage. The entrance is located off the intersection of El Camino Real and Middle Ave. If you are going north on El Camino Real, make a right onto Middle Ave (if going south on El Camino Real, make a left) and follow the street to the right. The first downward ramp leads down to our parking garage. This will look like an entrance into the condominiums. Once you get to the bottom turn to the right and drive until you find an elevator to the right along the wall. This will lead to our lobby on the first floor.

Priced at $125 per guest, this five-course journey highlights the finest Cal-Indian seasonal ingredients, masterfully prepared to create a dining experience that is both immersive and unforgettable. Designed to ensure seamless service and an elevated atmosphere, this offering allows larger parties to fully engage with the artistry of our menu while enjoying the warm hospitality that defines our restaurant. A commitment to this tasting menu is required for groups of this size, ensuring that every guest enjoys a meticulously orchestrated experience at the highest level of our culinary vision. All children ages 5-10 years of age will be required to participate in the tasting menu at a $65/person. Children 11 years of age and older will be required to participate at the normal $125/person rate.

                                                    We arrived 10 minutes early and were very well received and directed to the bar area to order while we wait for our table. However it took over 30 minutes before we got our table. The service was nice, however the food and drinks were not upto the mark. They were fair (neither good nor bad) for the price point.

                                                    We were very dissapointed in this restaurant; the experience did not live up to the hype. The food was mediocre at best and the service was very uneven. The interior decoration was pleaseing but it made the small space seems even more crowded, there is just too much going on and it feels over done. Twice we were given dishes that we had not ordered; when we told the servers we had not ordered these items, they just looked totally confused. All in all, it was overpriced and under delivered.

                                                    We had a fantastic experience at Eylan last night. The wood fired flavors were soo good. The oysters were the best I've ever had, the Seekh kabab was absolutely delicious, as was the black cod. Our server Hardik helped take the entire experience to the next level!

                                                    Even with reservation it took time to get the table. The food has a unique twist to Indian food. It's eclectic so not all dishes will appeal to all. It's family style dining so it is easy to share with your group.

                                                    The noise level prevents meaningful conversation. Love everything about the restaurant except the noise level. It was impossible to hear anyone speak. Actually it was yelling, not speaking.
