Indulge in a coastal-inspired culinary experience at Ferrymans Grille, where we welcome guests year-round. Our charming establishment is nestled within the enchanting Danford's Hotel, Marina and Spa, situated in the heart of historic Port Jefferson. As the premier waterfront dining destination, Ferryman's offers both exciting cuisine and a tranquil ambiance.

Throughout the summer season, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, we serenade our patrons with live music performances every evening. Whether you prefer the cozy indoor setting or the refreshing outdoors on our Admirals deck (weather permitting), we provide the perfect setting for your dining pleasure.

Please note that reservations are available for indoor dining exclusively, while outdoor seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Join us for a memorable dining experience by the waterfront at Ferrymans Grille.

Enjoy our seasonal display of all of your holiday favorites including mouthwatering carving stations, delectable desserts, beautiful displays of antipasto, charcuterie and cheese, raw bars and so much more! Seating times vary throughout the day from 12pm until 4pm. Choose your time you would want to enjoy your celebration with loved ones with live music playing in the backdrop and stunning marina views. We had a great experience! We were given a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Such a wonderful surprise. This wasn’t my first time, but the food is amazing. Only thing I would change is extra capers on my meal. However, my husband and I were so full and happy with our meals. The service was beyond amazing. You won’t be disappointed.

This was our 1st time dining here & it was the 1st night of LI restaurant week - 6:30 reservation for 3 people & not crowed at all. We ordered 2 Halibut dinners & 1 Roasted Duck - unfortunately the Halibut was very salty - too many capers, & the Duck had to be sent back because it was undercooked & very fatty. The waitress was very accommodating & offered another choice - so Beef Short Ribs was selected - really not much better. Dessert time - we all selected the cobbler - keep in mind this is the 1st night of restaurant week - and were told they ran out. Our waitress was embarrassed & appalled - the poor thing. None of this was her fault. The young manager came over to apologize for everything we encountered - kudos to her!!! She gave us 30% off the bill - She saved our night, but we're thinking it will be a long time before we go back - maybe the spring - for another try. Good luck to the rest of the diners during Restaurant Week!

Ferryman's grill was a great dining experience. Food was excellent, service was wonderful. The dining room is a pleasant nautical decor. It was quiet even though most tables were occupied that made conversation easy!

Butternut squash soup was so thick you couldn't eat it. Duck was not seared enough so skin was very chewy, risotto not cooked enough, crunchy. Vegetables delicious. Warm apple crumb was no warm at all. Crab cakes were excellent Service and Server was excellent and very apologetic. They took 10% off bill

It was a beautiful fall day and decided to go to Ferryman’s Grille not in the middle of summer. Food was good but have to say abit pricey but I guess that is tourist prices. The salad was $16 which was fine but if you wanted to add chicken it was an additional $17 which is absurd.

Came here to take our SUNY Stonybrook college freshman nephew to dinner and didn’t really know what to expect. We had a delightful evening. Food and wine were good, scenery and atmosphere very nice, a couple of guys playing old 70s tunes on guitar made for super pleasant background. And our waiter Joe was super charming and helpful. Enjoyed it tremendously.
