A sophisticated watering hole with elevated bare fare. The Pendry San Diego hotel bar, Fifth & Rose, is a classic cocktail bar in an elegant, chic, and comfortable room. A classic setting for a fitting drink, it is a place to engage in conversation, enjoy bar fare, and linger over the perfect cocktail. Rich stone stands out amidst a black and white palette with crimson details, while candles and fresh roses accent tables.     Me and a friend stopped in and sat at the bar. We were greeted right away. All the bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Food was amazing and didn’t take too long. Ambiance was perfect too, not too dark or bright. Shout out to Jad the supervisor for checking in on us and making sure our experience was a positive one. Will definitely be back!

    Service was terrible. We were never greeted upon arrival. Had to go to the bar to let someone know about our reservations and they were all so unorganized. Ended up just having a drink then leaving. Didn’t stay for food.

    Not sure why a reservation was needed. It’s a bar with open seating and no host. Anyway, the drinks were excellent. There was a massive crowd from a convention and service was deathly slow.

    Killer vibe, solid drinks. We didn't eat there, just had a nightcap. Thankfully the music wasn't stupid loud, making this a sweet cocktail lounge I'll be visiting in the future.

    Entertained several clients during InterSolar Conf. At 5th/Rose. Drinks are incredible, great location. Connects to Provision…where the drinks are equally fab!

    Excellent service and incredible food! The managers and staff are extremely accommodating and very friendly. Thank you to Aemon (manager) and Anya. Great experience and classy as usual!

    We went to Fifth and Rose for drinks before dinner, and were thoroughly impressed with not only the drinks, but also the ambiance and the excellent staff. We will absolutely return!

    Despite the fact that this restaurant made a reservation for us through Open Table and the reservation was verified by the concierge at the Pendry, when we arrived there was not a table available. The staff at Fifth and Rose did not seem concerned that they were unable to seat us. Therefore I can't rate their food or ambiance.
