Everything food related, and table service related, was fine, as it has been every year we’ve dined at Fin…and that’s a lot of years.
Unfortunately, this was our first unpleasant experience, so we chose not to accentuating our displeasure while at your restaurant. It all went wrong with your receptionist, who you should know needs some serious customer service training.
We arrived at 5pm, which was our reserved time, and were directed by your receptionist to a four top in the dead center of the room, which wasn’t desirable. We were one of the first of your customers to arrive, and being that there were many other tables open we simply asked politely if we could be moved to a different table. Your receptionist immediately became chippy and defensive, stating, “that will NOT be impossible, because everyone had already been called to verify their seating.” I informed her that I had not been called, nor emailed, nor texted, and that at no point in the reservation process had I been given a choice of seating, except inside vs outside. She held up her hand, walked away, and completely dismissed me.
I have since verified I received no call, email, or text, regarding my preferred seating. As I said, I let it slide in your restaurant, but every single person in my party was shocked and offended by the attitude of your employee, and if I didn’t otherwise love your establishment, I would never return.
