• 2013 Finale, Chanconne Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast$50.00

  A Chanconne is a slow, steady sensual dance which matches this wine perfectly. This vineyard, planted in shallow, sultry soils of the Sonoma Coast, produces a beautifully balanced Pinot Noir. 2013 was an exceptional year for grape growing. With it being the third year of drought, tonnage was minimal, but these fewer and smaller grapes gave it their all. This wine has a dark berry, slightly tart mouthfeel with a gracious amount of boysenberry, bramble berry, and a touch of bay leaf. Extend your Open Arms to this lilting Pinot, now through at least the next few years.

  The 2008 Grand Finale has it all. This wonderfully balanced blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot has an opulent, fruit driven spirit. The initial mouthfeel of dried fruit, plum, red licorice and soft Greek olive sensations move forward into a crescendo of toasted oak, bold tannin, food worthy acidity and slightly tart yet ripe olallieberries.   A Grand Finale is the ultimate climax of a passionate performance. This Bordeaux-style wine is definitely climactic. Its deep, dense, cranberry-Bing cherry lusciousness includes hints of blueberry and exotic soft plush leather. The Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' of these grapes has resulted in this amazingly well-crafted wine. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc.
