    Absolutely amazing dinner tonight at Firebirds in Omaha. The ambience is perfect, not too bright, and a lovely fire when you walk in. Hostess was sweet and efficient, and got us to our reserved table quickly. We decided on wine and a Woodford old fashioned to start. Paul was an absolutely fantastic server, and was helpful and friendly without intruding. For dinner we enjoyed the bleu cheese filet and the cajun ribeye, both cooked to perfection. The semolina bread is light and heavenly. All in all, a perfect meal.

    My filet was very gristly & very tough. A filet shouldn’t be like that I should have sent it back which that is on me I wish they had a different options for sides. Like a risotto

    Tysa was our server. She had an outstanding presence and personality! If restaurants all had servers like Tysa, people would rarely eat at home! She is a charm for Firebirds!

    We have really enjoyed the food here in the past, & selected Firebirds to celebrate 2 birthdays. The server appeared to be inexperienced. She was pleasant enough but had to check on several of our questions. Her checking back with our foursome after the food was delivered was cursory at best—a “flyby” as we have come to call it. She left so quickly that I didn’t get a chance to tell her that my mashed potatoes were cold & my carrots were undercooked. I ended up bringing over half my dinner home where I could heat it up & finish cooking the carrots. Others in our party said their steak & salmon were good, & the desserts were great.
