Made a reservation at 5 and didn’t get sat until 5:25 after going back up to the host standing and asking how long it would be. They told us if we didn’t want to wait we could take the table closest to the door, which was fine for having to wait 25 minutes passed our scheduled reservation time. Our server was slammed so service was a bit slow but he was really sweet and let us know he’d be right with us so we at least were acknowledged! Food and portions were great as usual, music is a bit loud for conversation but the songs are bangers (:

Wonderful food, and service. Great looking restaurant. Too, too noisy! Could not hear table mate, between the energetic Sunday afternoon crowd and the music, the noise-level was deafening. Noise level spoiled an otherwise enjoyable meal.

This was our third time dining at "FIXINS" when we visited LA. From the first to this time, we're never disappointed! Food, Service, Drinks are on point and we look forward to dining there again! Our son joined us on this trip along with his girlfriend. He had eaten at "FIXINS" in Tulsa, OK. He loved his experience there. The appetizers are delicious (deviled eggs, pimento cheese, and the fried green tomatoes)! You can't go wrong with any of their entrees but we love the fried chicken! Definitely if you're in downtown LA definitely make it a destination. I would recommend making reservations as they are crowded on game days on weekends! You won't be disappointed! The DJ kept us enjoying great music while we ate! Love it!
