FLORA’s contemporary approach reimagines what Mexican food can be – offering familiar flavors and iconic dishes, newly interpreted. FLORA strips away the formality of dining with a focus on clean, organic, high-quality food made with love, made by hand. The stunning brass and marble bar, teeming with tequila and mezcal, sets the tone for a lively social scene and the unparalleled outdoor terrace is the quintessential Houston outdoor dining experience. For parties of 7+ guests, please submit a private dining request. Out of respect for our chandeliers, we do not allow balloons. We ask that you celebrate your special occasions with our desserts as we do not allow outside cakes. We ask that you leave your pets at home.

    I Love FLORA!!!! It was a delightful place to celebrate brunch!! We had the Huevos Rancheros and they were DELICIOUS!!! OK here is a great add - Ask for a side of the MOLE SAUCE!! The mole sauce at Flora is Fantastic! The ambiance with all the lovely chandeliers, the view of the Bayou and Downtown skyline and the Spanish guitar during brunch - perfect "chef's kiss"

    Despite making reservations for standard dining well in advance, we were sat at a terrible table.. right in front of the bar, that’s supposed to be a waiting area for people. Food is okay, overall Not a great experience.

    My two girlfriends and I came to Flora to celebrate National Margarita Day, and it was a fantastic experience! I had two mezcal margaritas—one classic and one with guava—both smoky, smooth, and well-balanced. My friends enjoyed the Flora Margarita and loved it. We shared the queso, getting the chorizo on the side since I don’t eat meat, and it was rich and flavorful. One of my friends also had the tortilla soup, which not only tasted delicious but had a beautiful presentation. Our waiter, Alan, was amazing—super friendly and gave great food recommendations. The ambiance was lively yet elegant, making it the perfect spot for a fun night out. I’d definitely come back!

    We went in for drinks and appetizers; the tortilla soup was perfect. Nachos with white cheese were nice. Margaritas were a little pricey but very tasty. The manager checked on us and seemed sincerely concerned about our experience. Our waitress, I wish I remembered her name, was great as well.

    Food was excellent! Ambiance was very pleasant. Chandeliers are beautiful! It was a little annoying we were not offered a purse/coat stand at our table for our jackets and purses. All the other tables had them - probably an oversight of the hostess. Overall a lovely place and experience. Will definitely be going back.
