   I tell everyone. EVERYONE. My favorite restaurant is Fogo. The last 2 times I’ve been there. The experience has been sub par. This most recent experience was the worst. They put us in the corner next to a scuffed up wall, no light on the table for ambiance, I went to another table and literally took their light 😂 The waiter took forever to first arrive. The meat took absolutely forever to get to us and they always went to the bigger tables first. Many times those tables had big parties that took it all. When I first came to Fogo nearly 3 years ago. After that experience I called it my favorite restaurant ever! My most recent experiences have me looking for better. Very sad because the food is still good. But the quality of the experience is not the same… I hope they invest in hiring better and having managers that make sure the experience for every customer is top notch. Otherwise, I see them going down hill. SAD :(

   They make you get up a self serve yourself apps like a buffet. They do not tell you your sides on the menu. They had extra carts serving different drinks not on the menu. They do not disclose the prices on these drinks. One of them was $40 and the server who sold it was mad when we asked to take it off the menu, as my sister did not even drink it nor was informed how much it was. His attitude and behavior was figuring when he then removed it from the table like we were going to still drink it. They did not thank for tip, even though we still left a generous one though they did not deserve it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Aldi they only have large party seating in the main part of the restaurants. Two tops get pushed to the side by the bar

   Always a great experience at Fogo! The art deco style of the building (it’s a former bank) just takes things to the next level. Meats were all excellently prepared & seasoned (not too salty). Even had mocktails on the menu. Deserts were decadent (in a good way). Highly recommended!

   The special Carnival menu was good but, because it was a group seating, we were not shown to our seats until 15 minutes after our reservation time and it took about another 15 minutes before we would order our drinks. There was further delay until the bar bites came out. All of this would not have been a big deal, but because we had other plans that night we had to leave before some of the food made its way out of the kitchen. Most of the food that we did get was good, but the chicken sliders were cold. We hope to come back another time when we do not have later plans that evening.

   Overall a great price for a great event! There was no candied black pepper bacon and the deviled eggs were frozen. Would have loved a free drink for the inconvenience.

    We didn’t like the fact that we have to ask waiter to bring us chorizo and pork which never arrived, salad bar not what I expected, $322 for 3 people too much money not enough variety of food. We had waiters asking the same question over and over .” You want dessert “ you ready to pay bill”
