   The place was so cold we had to remain in our coats. We had to constantly flag someone for service. To order drinks, to supply silverware to place our order. It was as though we weren’t there. The food once it did arrived, was sub-standard at best. Again, after waiting a considerable amount of time we had to catch the attention of the host?… who directed a different server to bring our check. We were highly disappointed with the entire evening. I would not recommend this restaurant. Louisville is full of wonderful culinary choices.This is not one of them.

   My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of experiencing an extraordinary dining experience this evening at Fork & Barrel. We are profoundly grateful to Geoffrey Heyde, and Emily Heyde, the owners, and their incredibly talented team for delivering a truly exceptional 5-star, 5-diamond level of fine dining. From start to finish, every aspect of the meal was executed flawlessly, reflecting the utmost in culinary mastery, impeccable service, and attention to detail. The entire experience was an unforgettable journey of top-tier flavors and hospitality, undoubtedly top of the heap in this Foodie town .    A wonderful evening with delicious food for our party of four. Our party of four enjoyed the Sea bass, pork chop and shrimp and grits…all dishes were fabulous…as were the appetizers and cocktails. Our server was great and Geoffrey Heyde, Executive Chef, made his rounds as usual. We look forward to returning soon,

   Food was great! The sea bass and fillet were cooked perfectly. The au gratin potatoes we delicious. Best tomato basil soup we have had.

    Went on Valentine’s Day for first time. Everything was better than expected. Chef came to our table and greeted us. Would definitely go back.
