   Great first time to four kings. Great team and awesome food. Awesome ambience with lots of nostalgia. Staff is attentive and engaging. Already shared this with others to come back again. Very well done

   Looked forward to this dinner since it was difficult to secure reservations and it was my wife and my first date night out since we had a newborn a couple months ago. We arrived 15 min late (newborn) and were told our table was already given away, though they had counter seats available (not sure why they couldn’t have seated walk-ins there instead of our reserved table). The crab special was already sold out by 6:30, but we weren’t too bummed since it was a bit pricey $125. We got the sichuan cabbage, popcorn chicken, green beans, clay pot rice and ma po spaghetti. Nothing spectacular, felt overpriced for the dishes. Thought the veggies were the best and cooked well but everything was a bit salty. Was overall quite disappointed with our experience tonight, don’t see us going back.

   This place got it all: the food, service and nostalgic ambience. Inspired and close to HK canto food, Four Kings make my childhood hawker food more refined and surgical in execution.

   I had a fantastic experience at Four Kings with my husband and friends. The ambiance had an authentic 80s Hong Kong vibe. The service was attentive and quick. We enjoyed everything we ordered, except the Mapo spaghetti. While flavorful, it was a bit too salty for our taste. The taro puffs, clay pot, pork chop, squab, and bingsu were all amazing! We also loved the skewers, escargot, and tofu dessert. The bingsu was a delightful surprise—its simple appearance doesn’t do justice to how flavorful it is. We’ll definitely be coming back!

   Loves the variety of the Cantonese dishes. Everything was amazing! Sad to have missed the specials but I just have to snag an earlier reservation next time.

   Overall I had a good experience at Four Kings. The food was good, but it didn’t live up to the hype. There were several outstanding dishes, especially the squab, which was delicate, perfectly cooked and crispy. Also, the squid and the lamb skewers were tender and nicely flavored. We ordered the beef chow fun and were surprised that the beef was very chewy and the sauce was bland. We had similar issues with the tomato pork chop rice - the pork chop was crispy, thick and beautifully cooked, yet the rice was lumpy and the dish lacked the silky tomato sauce of the same dish at Koi Palace. The service was very good, friendly and helpful. The only issue was that the staff insisted on keeping the door of the restaurant open to “let out smoke”. We had to keep our coats on because it was a chilly night. I would recommend Four Kings, it was a fun experience, the ambience was youthful and energetic. Just choose wisely when ordering.

    This was my second time at Four Kings. The first time, I went with a friend who I knew wanted to go and he appreciated it, but was slightly picky. The second time, I took my partner and my parents. Both times we sat at the bar--however, with 4 people, we sat on the corner of the bar, and it felt almost like a table. Both times--food is very good. Service is very good. I got both reservations via OpenTable at midnight when reservations opened. We loved the squab, steak chow fun, and mapo spaghetti. Skewers were fine--small.
