Christmas is so much more than just the big day itself and we'll keep the festivities going all the way through December into the bright lights of 2025! Unfortunately the food was not acceptable. The steak and ale pie looked like it had been bought from a supermarket and then microwaved. The pie casing itself was not properly cooked through, a but doughy. My wife ordered the fish and chips. She couldn't ear it. It was hard to cut with the knife and the fish looked clear in parts. In other words, undercooked. Those 2 dishes were about £12.99 each, apart from drinks. I was thoroughly disappointed, as it looks like a nice place. Perhaps it was just a bad day for the Fox Inn when I ate there last week.

We booked a table for 11am and were stood outside waiting for it to open. They were late opening so we went elsewhere

My meal was nice but the portion was small. We had the Sunday roast. I had beef but was a bit tough. My partner also had beef and did not enjoy his meal at all. Mainly because he didn't like the leeks and the stuffing ball and the beef was chewy. My mum had the turkey and she said it was nice. Like me, she liked her meal but we both agreed that the previous times we had eaten there, had been nicer and the portion size was more.

Very good food. Surprised that there weren't many others eating there because the Sunday lunch was lovely.
