Airy, elegant FRANCINE, which sits in the luxury wing of Scottsdale Fashion Square, exudes the charms of le midi (the south of France), homeland to celebrity chef-founder Laurent Halasz who re-creates specialties of the Mediterranean region.     I am not happy with some of the changes over the lastr year and a half. I use to say that the tuna tartar was the best that I ever had. It is now totally changed. Our reservation was at 7 pm. Restaurant was not crowded. After our waiter raved about the salt crusted branzino, I talked my friend into trying it. After we ordered, the waiter came back and apologized because they were out of the branzino. Our waiter was nice, but not very good. He forgot one of our appetizers.

    Take a break and transport yourself to France. Francine incorporates the best of French cuisine with a beautiful cafe like atmosphere! The food is fantastic and won't break your wallet, while the atmosphere is relaxing!

    We were seated outside and the service was terrible out there. Had to go inside to hunt down staff for every need. They had plenty of room inside but forced us to sit outside.

    First time to Francine, had a lovely lunch, so many wonderful items on the menu it was hard to choose. Loved the crab shrimp salad. The wash chicken salad also amazing. The chicken sandwich was very good. Yummy sourdough bread. The desserts were scrumptious! The profiteroles and the Harry berries were great. Our server was so friendly and the staff were very helpful.
