Franco's Ristorante is the perfect combination of old world Italian classics and your new favorite pasta dishes. We've been around for over 27 years and have perfected our craft. Some of our most famous dishes include whipped ricotta tuffo, sausage and peppers, eggplant parmigiana and gnocchi.

Our great food and atmosphere helped us earn the honor of being named the Chicago Reader's 2016 "best place for a cheap date" and "best local restaurant."

You will be wowed when you step inside our bright, airy and modern restaurant. You can enjoy a drink at our new marble-topped bar or cozy up to tables with bright red-leather chairs and banquettes in the dining room. In the summer we are happy to offer outdoor seating that allows dogs.

                                                                                                      It was great! We had a really good time. Love everything about Franco’s except for one thing. There was a piece of metal wire in one of the entrees we ordered. But the wait staff was very kind to take away that disk and make a new one for us.

                                                                                                      My favorite Italian place in Chicago! It's cozy & the food is always great. The service is always quick & friendly. I live in the suburbs, but every time I'm anywhere near Bridgeport, I stop in.

                                                                                                      Have been there twice, once for a full meal and once for drinks and an appetizer. Both times the food and service were amazing. I have gone to IIT for 4 years now and wish I went to this place earlier. It is a place where I will go for more of a special occasion considering the budget of a college kid, but it is 100% worth it.

                                                                                                      Great spot! We had a reservation and arrived about 30 minutes early. By the time we used the restroom they had a table for us. We are not big eaters so we split a salad and entree. Got to add the yummy chocolate cake that way! Everything was delicious!

                                                                                                      Don’t hesitate to go and experience a true Italian experience. The service was spot on, the food was traditional Italian and the server made the menu flexible for our taste. The prices are perfect for this neighborhood find and I would encourage out of town guest to experience the Franco experience.

                                                                                                      Wonderful service and even though they were busy, they made sure to check in on us. Food was good. We sat outdoors so noise level is what it is.
