Fuad's Restaurant offers guests a fine dining experience. Its inviting setting is wonderful for date night with that special someone or catching up with an old friend over lunch. Fuad's Restaurant operates without a menu, allowing guests to tell the chef exactly what they want, which is then cooked to their specifications. This establishment does offer specials, such as veal chops with Italian style potatoes, Key Lime shrimp with lobster and crayfish bisque. It also has desserts like the popular flaming bananas foster.

Fuad's Restaurant features a wine cellar with an extensive selection for guests to choose from and it serves classic cocktails, as well as other beverages. This establishment also hosts events throughout the year.

Don't blow your wad eating at Fuad's. I have lived in Houston for 40 years and have eaten at the most of the best restaurants in the city. Though I had never eaten at Fuad's before, I had heard good reviews and decided to try the restaurant when it was hard to make a reservation for Valentine's Day. What we found was a very small venue dated in the early 80's with tables too close together, a menu with no prices and music in the bar from the 60's. It is not normal for me nor will it ever be again that I just order a menu item without knowing the price. Service was very slow and I had to ask a couple of times when our order would be ready but when it was brought out, I found out quickly, that it was not what I was expecting. The steak and lobster dish was not very tasty and my rack of lamb was tough and flavorless too. To top off the evening, the musical entertainment was guy who played an electric organ mounted on a grand piano singing with a voice from the past. Overall, this was no doubt the worst meal in the worst setting I have experienced in a long time and at final cost of over $450 bill. My advice is if you are thinking of going to Fuad's, think again. There are too many great restaurants in Houston to make a known bad choice.

Service was great. The people there are awesome. The food was not the best this time. Everyone has a off night. Still will return.

We went to Fuad's Restaurant the last day of HRW, just to try it out. They had a large selection to choose from and the food was very good. The staff was very attentive and the live music was not so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talking (big plus!). We felt like this was a neighborhood bar/restaurant. Very cozy and welcoming. We do have plans on going again.

We had a lovely experience at Fuad's. It is definitely an old school vibe. We were early during the week, so there was no live music. The piped in music was good for the most part. We like the older, 60's, 70's music, so enjoyed when that was playing, although there was some variation an for a short time got a bit loud. The bar was a gathering spot for several younger women who had drinks and chatted while we ate. We had the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu, and every course seemed to be full size. Each item was prepared well and served nicely. We had duck in a cherry sauce which was really excellent. Also loved the bananas foster, flamed at the table! We had house wines which were also quite nice. Other wines are served by the bottle only.

Didn’t realize the chef doesn’t arrive until 6 PM per waiter. Very nice food and service. Verbal menu. No prices mentioned.

Love Fuads. Have been eating there for 30 years. Great food. Fun atmosphere. Superior service. Friendly patrons.
