Good food, well prepared and presented with one or two unusual things such as the Nasu Dengaku that I haven't easily found elsewehre in Dublin. Ambience was nice with Japanese theme decor, waiters kitted up smartly to match, and funky robotic cats bringing the trays of food around. Service was smooth, fast and friendly. Minor suggestion would be to have small plates/sauce bowls provided up front, without having to request and wait for these. Not sure what the expected norm is but it was somewhat impossible to eat from the elaborate boat shaped platter without these. But that's just a comment from the impatient and over-eager eater that I am. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fujiyama and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of delicious. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors that left my taste buds dancing. I particularly enjoyed the sushi which was a standout - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What impressed me even further was the reasonable pricing. Given the quality of the food, I expected to pay a premium but the menu offered excellent value. It's refreshing to find a place where you can indulge in high-quality cuisine without breaking the bank. The service was superb. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely friendly, making our dining experience feel personal and welcoming. They were quick to recommend dishes and made sure our needs were always met without being intrusive. Lastly, the cleanliness and cozy ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience. The decor was charming and inviting, creating the perfect environment for a relaxing meal. I appreciated the attention to detail in both the presentation of the dishes and the restaurant's atmosphere. I highly recommend Fujiyama to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. Whether you’re out for a casual lunch, a special occasion or a cozy dinner, this restaurant will not disappoint! I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu.

The food was lovely. In fact I am already planning on going there again. There are some novelty elements to the restaurant, but they just add a unique element to the experience, and don't detract from it. Quite the opposite in fact. It is essentially a restaurant for "weebs" (western fans of Japanese culture). The Japanese servers, waving mog statues, artificial pink cherry blossom trees, robot server trays with cat faces on them bringing out your food, you get the picture. I wouldn't consider myself a weeb, but still found the whole thing pretty interesting. It was a nice change of pace.

First visit and will definitely be back. Beautifully decorated restaurant, friendly professional staff and good value. Hot food was excellent but sushi was not great. The sashimi was good but the rolls were not done to my taste. Will chose differently next time. Great addition to Dundrum

Such a lovely restaurant, supurb menu, service and ambience. A really fun experience for all the family and a much needed addition to the food offering in Dundrum. We had a fantastic meal and the waiting staff made our birthday celebrations really special.
