Garde East at Vineyard Haven Marina is an award-winning beachfront restaurant oasis on Martha’s Vineyard, located in quaint Vineyard Haven, just steps from the town’s ferry terminal.

The restaurant features the Island’s bounty from both sea and land, inspired by refined, classic techniques from French cuisine. The setting at Garde East is truly unique offering food and beverage service in a nautical dining room, outdoor decks and courtyard, or on the property’s private beach overlooking boats in Vineyard Haven Marina.

Garde East is open seven days a week for lunch, afternoon docktails and dinner service. Private events and chartered ferry services are also available.

    Garde East continues to wow and be a favorite of ours! Never a bad evening had there! Food and drink are always spectacular and the staff is attentive and a joy to be around! I will never stop recommending Garde East!

    The food was very tasty and the flavors were “sophisticated “ according to our knowledgeable friends. The menu choices were very appealing, and the four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The views from the upper floor cannot be beat.

    Dined here for my birthday this week. The citrus salad and the truly incomparable halibut will both haunt our dreams for the year to come. Service by Eric, including allergy accommodations was impeccable! Go!
