                                                                          The Steak special was great - well cooked and a great meal. Took forever to get the meals and part of the table order was missed. Overall pretty good, but don't go if you are after an express work day lunch.

                                                                          Great pub food, outstanding, all SA Wine List, exceptional service. Had a chat with the kitchen - fabulous banter about their house made chilli sauce. ✅✅

                                                                          The hotel havelock is a great place to visit. The bar and balcony upstairs is fantastic to hold an event. The burger and chips are tasty. The steak was cooked well done and dry despite mentioning to the person taking my order that I wanted the steak cooked medium rare.

                                                                          Sadly, this place is really poor with no ambiance and really bad food, just okay if you need a drink but I'd go anywhere else. Group of us went for a mid-week meal. We were told by other diners to avoid the steak as it was tough and chewy. A few of us opted for chicken burgers - the chicken was cooked within an inch of its life, there was no bacon and barely any sauce. Salads for the other meals could not be eaten as they tasted off. The floor in the "restaurant" and the tables reminded me of being in a tacky nightclub in the 80s! Wait staff did their best but won't be enough to rescue this once loved Adelaide pub.
