   Apps: oysters- 10/10 as if the ocean they came from was a mile away! Calamari- delicious with their spicy sauce Meatball- was definitely made fresh day of. Melted in your mouth fork cut through it like butter. Entrees: Our waiter, Zach, was great and mentioned the blackened sea bass. But, I had the waygu filet! Phenomenal melt in your mouth, words can't express how great the mushroom risotto paired with the steak. I added the lobster tail, and I was not disappointed. Sometimes, the bigger the tail worries me because I feel it's not as buttery. Not the case with their South African tail! -wife had the Chicken Malianse. Chicken was tenderized to perfection, and this dish looked as good as it tasted! - crab crusted salmon I was only fortunate enough to have 1 bite of, and it was not a let down. Can't wait to return and order the sea bass!

   Our service was fair… considering the amount we spent … I expect better service. The whole experience just didn’t flow … we didn’t get oyster forks, side plates and extras ordered like sauces weren’t with the dinner. It was my bday so I got a dessert. We got menus for dessert but never were able to place an order because the waitress never came back so all 7 of us shared mine.

   Went for our Mom’s 90th birthday. The menu’s even had that printed on them. Nice touch. Our waitress, Skye did a tremendous job!

   Excellent experience for a family dinner. Food was amazing and our server Frank was personable and knowledgable. Out of town family said they would drive back to Buffalo to go here again

   Celebrating our anniversary, was looking for a good restaurant. OMG, The food service everything was so amazing. This is the best meal we've ever eaten. We definitely be coming back.

   My girlfriend and I were very happy with our dining experience. The entire hospitality team were wonderful and made my girlfriend’s birthday celebration special and memorable. We intend on coming back for another time and invite our friends to join us. Beautiful dining experience. Thanks

   We haven't been to this restaurant in a while and thought we would try it again. Wow! They really did a ton to this place! Looks beautiful and so well laid out! Dinner was awesome and we'll definitely be back. Great server and ambiance!~ Happening place!

   We came to Giancarlo’s with my family. In town to attend accepted students day at University of Buffalo. The oysters were great. The pizza was delicious. The Caesar Salad was one of the best we ever had. We ordered the 32 oz bone in ribeye to share for 4 of us. Cooked medium rare perfectly and sliced for us to share. The steak was $89 and for that money we were expecting a top quality steak. This steak was chewy and grisly. Our family had to spit out many pieces it was not able to be chewed. I am not one of those people to complain and send it back. We just quietly sent it back uneaten and I was so embarrassed. I had high expectations exotically for the cost. My son’s girlfriend had been here before and had filet and said it was the best steak she ever had So we will not come back. The service was impeccable and the Au gratin was delicious.

    Food and service was excellent. Was a tad dark where we were seated. Had to use phone light to read menu.
