Step back in time as you enter Gibbys, housed in a magnificent 200-year-old building in Old Montreal. This charming restaurant which boasts historic stone walls, original beamed ceilings and cozy fireplaces, all combine to make dining at Gibbys a memorable experience.

Experience the finest seafood, fresh sumptuous chilled oysters, large choice of the freshest fish, and Gibbys’ expertly aged delectable steaks, cooked to perfection. We lavish our guests the moment we seat them, with complimentary oven fresh bread, crunchy dill pickles, croutons and bacon crumble.     Patate Montécarleau toujours aussi bonne l'agneau toujours excellent mais cette fois-ci plus difficile à séparer les côtes. Dans l'ensemble à la hauteur de nos attentes

    The waiter was soo nice! he knew me and my boyfriend were celebrating him getting the Canadian passport and brought us a full cake on the house and wrote on it "canada" the sweetest service and the best steak in Montreal!

    Loved it! Gibby's was especially accommodating as I'd asked to be seated away from others due to my wife's health issues. The food was incredible and they were very attentive. The manager even checked up on us to make sure everything was just right. My wife had the Beef Wellington and I had steak au poive. Both were fabulous, tasted great, perfect temperature. If we are in Montreal again, we will be back!
