Fabulous dinner with very attentive service. Loved the atmosphere. My husband had the Lamb Chops and I had the Veal Scallopini. Had crème brule that was to die for.

I legitimately say this with all open honesty. Last night's dinner at Giovanni's was by far and away one of, if not the very best, dinner nights my wife and I have had out... ever. Everything about the experience... from the Valet gentleman, to the hostess, to the bartender, to our service staff (Oliver and Alex(The really tall guy)), to the absolutely astonishingly good food, to the dessert... was simply, exceptional. My wife had then Gnocchi with chicken, I had the lasagna... and it was off the charts. The appetizer artichoke dish was by far and away the most lovely presentation and flavorful dish of the night... it simply blew us away. I don't know what voodoo is going on in the kitchen there, but it's doing it right. Additionally, this is the ONLY restaurant in Nashville we've been able to find that does a Ratatouille, which is something we've both wanted to try for a long time... mission accomplished! The creme Brule I'm still riding the high from.. that vanilla flavor only exists in dreams... Again, we could not have asked for more for a night out. Book this. You will not be disappointed!

Giovanni’s has been one of my favorite restaurants since 2016. The food, drinks, and service has always been of the highest quality. I’ll be back soon again!

Great sauce, fresh ingredients. Risotto was cooked perfectly though the scallops were small and rubbery. Service was good but not Joe Muir’s good, our table was poorly lit in a high traffic area. Like in every restaurant, there are tables to avoid. We will go back, request a better table, get the eggplant parm and beet salad. Our wine and drinks were well prepared.

Hostess was rude and told us they were full and would not change our table after being seated next to loud rude couple at a table set up way too close to them. Felt like we were at the same table as this odd couple cackling loudly and touching each other constantly. Food took a while for us starting to dine at 8:45 pm. Food was good, but everything else-service, atmosphere, bad table layout made it not worth $475 on Valentine’s dinner for 2 people prix fixe menu ($125 each) and 2 bottles of $60 wine.
