Our biggest restaurant with stunning views over the river Thames, you can find us at the front of the Royal Festival Hall, only moments away from the London eye and all the Southbank galleries & theatres. Often a queue but it moves quickly.

From bottomless brunch, spot of lunch, breakfast or just drinks and nibbles we will be serving you up flavoursome international dishes throughout the day.

All good for us, really let liked the ordering method, so simple and fuss free. Visited the following day for breakfast on the basis of this.

Sadly the food was poor, the chicken kebab was cold and over cooked, the beef taco was mushy and the child’s meatballs and pasta was cover in tasteless cheese and the meatballs were dry. However the waiting staff were great.

The service was really quick and our servers were friendly. The food was tasty. Our only disappointment was that you could pick any 2 sides with the kids meals but they were all green vegetable options - healthy but not very appealing to children. It would have been nice to have a little more variety such as mashed potato or baked beans.

I would avoid the Southbank branch of Giraffe, the service was abysmally slow we waited a long time for our waiter to come and take our order. We asked for water for the table which was not brought over nor were any sauces and the quality of food for the price was not good, I had the brunch of which the eggs were overdone and rubbery and the whole thing was fairly cold when brought out to our table.

The kids meals did not come with chips. The chips that came with the adults' meals were over seasoned. The Korean chicken was way too sweet, as was the chocolate sauce for the churros, which had way too much cinnamon on them. The burgers were OK but extremely expensive for very ordinary small burgers.

Giraffe always works when we are in town. It’s reasonably priced, lots of options and good kids’ menus. Allergies are well catered for and there’s always plenty of seats
