                                                    Friendly staff, great food. Dim lit atmosphere is good for dates, hangouts or business meetings. The sharing aspect of their menu allows for instant conversation hence why the place is buzzing

                                                    Stephanie Izard, we’ve been full support since your season of Top Chef and will always be devoted fans. Food tonight was incredible, but the service was just not there at all. We left fascinated by the wonderful flavors and completely stunned by the terrible service. We watched tables surrounding us celebrating birthdays get a candle and ice cream, while my husband celebrating his got nothing. Our server never checked back in on us after taking our dinner orders until giving us a dessert menu. When we got it, it took her another 15 minutes to come back and though we wanted to try citrus sundae and espresso martinis, we decided to go elsewhere for our sweet tooth because we just felt totally passed over while we watched service hit every table but ours. We were also squeezed into such an embarrassingly tight and small table. The food was incredible: the naan, pork shank, hamachi, empanadas. Hope someone can help work on the service because that’s equally important to flavor.

                                                    Every bite was amazing. Bass was the best fish I have ever had, and pork belly was tender and crispy at the same time. This is a don’t miss in Chicago.

                                                    It has been 10 years since my husband and I dined at girl and the goat and we were very excited to go back and see what changes were made over the years! Unfortunately, we were left quite dissatisfied. We ordered four dishes, the first being the oysters, which were good but quite honestly $18 for two oysters is a little excessive. The second dish was the liver mousse. The crumpets were either fried or excessively buttered, which felt unnecessary. The liver moose was OK, the blueberry preserve was delicious. The two pickled accompaniments, were just that, accompaniments. They didn't bring any value to the dish whatsoever and quite honestly, were flavorless. Our third course was the broccoli which was supposed to be served with a blue cheese smear/purée of some sort. No blue cheese flavor whatsoever and it tasted like a box of French fried onions dumped on top of the broccoli. Our fourth and final dish was the pork shank, which was the best of thefour. Again, did the nan/tortilla need to be as fried and greasy as it was? Where was the butternut squash in the dish as stated on the menu, and the lettuce pieces were so small we couldn't use it as an alternative option to eating with the pork. Our cocktails were decent. Overall, my husband and I came to the consensus that at the end of our dining experience we felt very unhealthy and dissatisfied.
