Chef Owner, Tong Chee Hwee, former Group Executive Head Chef of Hakkasan, has returned to launch Gouqi, an Award-Winning, Fine Dining Chinese restaurant located at 25-34 Cockspur Street, St James's opposite the Canadian Embassy, Trafalgar Square.
The restaurant name derives from the goji berry, a symbol of health and vitality that inspires the ethos of the restaurant. Using premium produce sourced from around the globe, the menu offers an abundance of flavours, techniques, and ingredients. The Berri Bar offers Asian inspired cocktails and an eclectic wine list.
Gouqi seats 100 guests, including 2 private interconnecting dining rooms; Crimson & Ruby, which seat 10 and 12, or combine to accommodate up to 22 guests.
Pre-orders required: Legendary Peking Duck 24hrs, Emperor’s Lobster Soup with Rice Pin Noodle and Crispy Rice 24hrs, Dim Sum Afternoon Tea 24hrs, and Live Norwegian King Crab 72hrs.
For each private dining room, we have a minimum spend of £1,200pp Sunday-Thursday, and £1,500 on Friday and Saturdays. Gouqi has two interconnecting private dining rooms; Crimson & Ruby, which seat 12 and 10, and combine to accommodate up to 22 guests. For standing events, the rooms can accommodate up to 45 guests.
The minimum spend from Sunday to Thursday is £1,200 per room, Friday and Saturday is £1,500 per room.
