It was my first time at The GrandView, the way up at night is a NEVER again. I’m terrified of heights but also because there are no RAILINGS at the most dangerous turns, so please please drive safely up no matter how fast you want to go! I am very serious, on top of that it decided to rain. The streets are very dark and the turns are tiny to turn on and quick with only so much space to turn. The experience was alright, I expected a bit more elegance instead I got a mediocre experience. My partner and I did the four course meal, initially I was just going to get the four course meal however our server let us know that we both had to get the four course meal. It’s 110 each. We got two different salads, which were good. We also did the ravioli and the antipasto. Those were not good at all, not even the sauce. These meals taste like they came from the freezer literally. Then we chose to do the dry aged 40-day-old steak. It really makes me so sad that they gave us a slab of meat, no crust, I’m going to be real honest what the heck was that? The slab of meat was very pink. And when I say slab. Yes I genuinely mean a slab of meat just the insides of the steak. Literally. Do not go here if you want a four out of 10 meal. Yes the view was great, but not really great when they have screens on the inside. I was only the impression that it would be open in the back where the outside seating is at. However, they were not opened. They were covered with screens. They also had live piano, I honestly was expecting a more elegant restaurant, however this environment gave a more modern atmosphere instead of elegant. Also please dress the dress code as they take pictures and then sell the 3 she took for $20 a piece. So on top of my meal, they interrupt you to take three photos of you and whoever you’re with. Then she’ll come back and show you how pretty yall are and then once you’re infatuated with your photos. She took them back and said they’re $20 each. You’ll be paying a lot!

We had such a wonderful anniversary dinner! Jonathan, our waiter, could not have been more pleasant and fun. All of the staff were attentive and professional. The food was incredible. We decided to do 4 course tasting menu and were not disappointed. We each picked something different to try and share. A few standouts were the freshness of the salads. All with vegetables grown right there. The osso bucco ravioli were fabulous. The prime rib melted in your mouth and the surprise was the chicken parm. The best we had ever tasted. But all of this including the amazing views made the evening very special. We will make The Grandview our go to restaurant for all of our families special occasions. It was that good!

Fabulous! Highly recommend. The best carpaccio I’ve ever had! Service impeccable! Beautiful views and cocktails were amazing! Can’t wait to go back!
