Green Pig Bistro (GPB) serves up classic, rustic French cooking with a decidedly American push.

GPB embraces a seasonal menu of hearty entrées, sourcing most ingredients locally to satisfy the palate & support the local community. It has a casual setting with a lively and energetic vibe and delicious farm-to-table food prepared in an open kitchen alongside unique craft cocktails & beer and an extensive, thoughtfully curated wine list.

GPB is open for Happy Hour every day from 4pm-6pm, Dinner every day from 5pm-close, and Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2:30pm. Reservations highly encouraged. Reservations not accepted for Happy Hour - just stop in.

Like the new location. Tables are pretty close together, not a great place for quiet intimate conversation, but great if you are up for interactions.

The volume of noise made it hard to talk. We were given a table next to the open kitchen which didn’t help and saw multiple other couples reassigned to new tables farther away. But somehow we weren’t offered that choice. The food was good and the server did a good job.

Nicely surprised by the new location! I liked the old location and ambience and find this new location very open, bright and love the big windows. It made seeing what was happening on the street corner so cool to watch from the inside! Guess it helped that it was snowing outside! Good was great and our server was attuned and right there when we needed something! Also nice that I can now receive wifi with no issue! 😉. Well done!

What a beautiful spot - the service needs to catch up. We came this Sunday morning and were seated at a beautiful booth. We got coffee and tea to start - both of which were cold. Very cold. It took forever to get the waiter’s attention to get new drinks. We started with the cinnamon waffles. They were ok - but the insides were not warm. They offered to bring us new ones and we declined. The manager came over to apologize which was nice. We ordered our main meals: my breakfast sandwich was good, my daughter got the stuffed waffle with eggs which was just ok. My friend ordered 3 sides - but they forgot the eggs she ordered. Her food was good - but it was frustrating they had yet another service issue. All in all a disappointment.

We loved this restaurant when it was at its previous location at 1025 N. Fillmore. The new location was cold (literally my husband and I were freezing I kept my winter jacket on) and extremely loud. The food was alright, but not worth the price at all! The only enjoyable part was that our server was great - very attentive and helpful.

The ambiance is nice but the food was terrible. I asked the waitress what she recommended and she said the Huevos rancheros so that's what I got as I often enjoy that dish. It was bland and I think it must have been sitting around ...I found it inedible. My impression is that the food is not the draw at this place. Won't be going back.

Server came by and told us bluntly we had to be finished by 6:30pm as the table was reserved then. Later apologized for how he said it. Server also had to be asked to refill water and take away appetizer plates 15min after our main course arrived. Great ambiance and food, but the service on this occasion was lacking.

Loved the old Green Pig. Dined there probably 5-6 times in last 18 months. First time at new Green Pig. Not loving it. Food still excellent (cornbread bread pudding side dish is awesome; meatloaf plat du jour excellent; swordfish kabob outstanding though small). Unfortunately two things were way off: ambience—no longer comfortable and inviting, now it is cramped and insanely loud, so loud my ears were ringing for hours after; and drinks—ordered the Smokin Old Fashioned…”oh we haven’t been able to smoke our rye” (why is it still on the menu?)…ok, how about a regular old fashioned…”the only whiskey we have is Jack Daniel’s”…ok, I’ll have this Pinot/galaxy red blend wine…”oh, we don’t have that one but try this other Pinot”. Miss after miss. (The offered Pinot was fine). Just seems like something’s off with the bar, and who knows how the ambience can be improved. Very glad the food is still excellent.

Hello! Service with Jared was wonderful, food was ok. Had the croque madame. It was lukewarm. Deviled eggs were very good.
