Food was good and drinks were good too. Customer service had a lot to make up for as they were not having it. Our party tried to be as cooperative as possible as we knew it was a late reservation but from the get go I knew that the service was going to be bad. From the hostess not answering my “hi, how are you?” Question to the server and waitress just having a dreadful demeanor and saying they had done last call already after we ordered a second round of drinks and I had to remind her that no one told us they had done last call. Not a pleasant experience

It was different. Not what we expected. The food items we had were good, but rather skimpy for the price. The server explained to us that nothing comes with your order. My husband had meatballs and that was it. He did order a side of rice. Again we were just surprised but maybe that is the new way restaurants are going.

Great food! We didn’t have any left overs. Gotta try that pork chop and crudo next time. Hopefully they bring back yellowtail instead of salmon. Great service shout out Chris!

This place is amazing, the food is quite possibly the best around! We ordered the meatballs which are a must,y son got shrimp and said it was the best he has ever had, and of course we ordered the ribeyes because if you haven’t had it here yet… you are missing out! This place is so good, and the service and owner are on it! Highly recommend and going on Christmas an Eve was a great choice, made the night that much better.

Amazing dishes prepared by Chef Gabbie. We know her name bc after eating here we really wanted to know who the genius was behind such original, flavorful, and beautiful dishes. She turned out to be just as engaging and enjoyable as her food was. This place is an absolute must-try. The dino ribs were melt in your mouth. I would never order meatballs normally but the internet said to do so and we were so glad we did, insanely deep flavors. The pork chop was unlike any preparation I’d had before. It was resting on a bed of rice which was resting in a French onion soup and the flavors melded together like poetry. Internet also said to order the patatas bravas. When they came out they accidentally brought two orders to our table and we told them we only ordered one. After our first bites we lamented having them take the second one away bc these potatoes were PERFECTION. These were all heavy and deep flavors so we also had an amazing salmon crudo that just popped with freshness and brightness. Perfect counter to the other proteins we were having. Will absolutely return! Thank you Chef Gabbie and team. From maitre d to waitress to chefs you were all amazing.

This was our first time to Griffin's and we'll definitely be back. My husband had the sausage plate with shishito peppers and he loved it! We did have the salmon crudo as a starter and while the flavors were amazing, the dish itself was difficult to eat. We're used to the fish being in slices on a crudo dish and this was diced, like poke, and just didn't deliver. Overall though, it was a great experience and we will be back.

Excellent food, wonderful people. It's good to see north OC getting some talented chefs with good food. I am certain they will do amazing. Chef is very personable and talented. Servers are very nice and kind. Will quickly become our new local go to place.

Great staff and amazing food. The potatoes are tasty and the cowboy ribeye was cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. I will definitely be back.
