As Charleston's premier steakhouse, and member of the Great Steak Houses of North America, our menu is one of the few in the country that features 100% USDA Prime Beef. Located at the luxurious Market Pavilion Hotel in the heart of historic Charleston, we offer a dining experience like no other. All of our beef selections, including the filet mignon, are hand-selected and wet-aged 42 -50 days to ensure tender texture and unsurpassed flavor.

At Grill 225 we place a great deal of emphasis on seafood harvested from both local and International waters. Using only premium ingredients such as local sustainable seafood as well as exclusive premium domestic and international offerings.

Private Dining for up to 110 guests for indoor events.
Private gatherings for rooftop cocktail receptions and events up to 275 guests.

Dress Code:
For Men, smart business attire. Jackets are requested, but not required. Flip flops, T-Shirts, non collar shirts and baseball caps are not permitted.

Valet parking for Grill 225 is provided at the entrance to the Market Pavilion Hotel based on availability, and is subject to being fully committed during high business demands. Parking fee for dinner is $10.00 Sunday -Thursday and $25.00 on Friday - Saturday. Pickup trucks and large SUV vehicles will not be accepted by our valet staff.

Great service and quality dining experience. We had a very big dining table. Maybe they knew we were hungry-ha. Our waiter was super and had years of experience in the French Quarter of New Orleans….quite the professional and gentleman… and sorry I do not still have his name but he was great!

Usually an awesome experience. I guess everyone has an off night every now and then. I’m pretty sure our server just didn’t want to be at work that night. She tried but her lack of enthusiasm shone through.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner on a Friday evening. We were a few minutes early but were seated right away. Nice wine menu, with plenty of options. Server appeared disappointed that we only ordered appetizers (I am unable to eat a full entree) but otherwise, it was a very nice evening. We ended the night with a quick stop at the rooftop bar for a night cap. Highly recommend!

We ate at four separate upscale restaurants in Charleston for dinner (FIG) etc.) This was by far the most expensive. While the service was lovely and the atmosphere is lovely the food quality is mediocre at best. Oysters are in season. The oysters we received were minuscule compared to the abundance of big plentiful oysters we had other places. For the price of the food it was highly disappointing, and instantly not nearly as good as other places.
