Hacienda San Angel Gourmet offers a breathtakingly elegant and scenic setting, ideal for romantic dinners and special celebrations. Our full-service roof-top restaurant creates memorable upscale Mexican and international meals. DRESS CODE in place is to maintain a fine dining experience. Shirt collars are required; flip flops, tennis shoes, t-shirts, tank tops and beachwear are not permitted.

Experience live mariachi bands up to four evenings each week during the off-season and six nights a week during the high season.

Indulge in unforgettable upscale Mexican and international cuisine at our rooftop restaurant, where full-service dining is provided.

CHILDREN 4 yrs and younger are not allowed. This venue is not suitable for young children.
2 HOUR table limit for 6pm & 6:30pm reservations for parties of 4 or less however we have an area for you to enjoy music and drinks after your dinner if you are not ready to leave.

    Have been going here for years. Today was a disappointment. Food was ok but limited variety of choices compared to earlier years. The servers were very disorganized, often 3 different ones asking us the same questions. Even though we made reservations months ago, we had to wait and when we were seated, it was off to a corner at a wobbly table. The violinist was loud and played incessantly the whole time; Like nails on a chalkboard. This will be our last visit.

    Best dining experience we've in Vallarta this season! Arturo and his crew gave very attentive service. He checked with chef to make sure delicious poblano pepper was gluten free and excellent sea bass as well so we could share it. Mariachis beautiful with singers, even played a request! Worth every peso!

    1st time going to Hacienda San Angel and it definitely won’t be our last time. The food , wine, service and Ambiance were all spectacular. Definitely a place worth going for a special occasion

    Excellent food and service in an atmosphere resembling a 1940s movie. It was hard to determine if we were having a romantic dinner in a colonial style hacienda, or were we actually extras in a movie: the mariachis were fabulous giving a full hour, 2-set show while we dined, watched the sun set and looked at the romantic view across Gringo Gulch.

    Everything was great except for the entertainment. The Mariachis were out of tune and below standard. They were more annoying than entertaining

    Thank you for the feedback. I will check to see if something was amiss last night. Normally they are a tight group and better than most Mariachi groups so I will explore for sure.     The service was slow, we were left at the entrance for a long time and the staff was slow to serve and take our order. but food and ambiance were lovely

    Wonderful place for a delicious meal and great atmosphere. Go when they have the mariachi band!
