Hacienda San Angel Gourmet offers a breathtakingly elegant and scenic setting, ideal for romantic dinners and special celebrations. Our full-service roof-top restaurant creates memorable upscale Mexican and international meals. DRESS CODE in place is to maintain a fine dining experience. Shirt collars are required; flip flops, tennis shoes, t-shirts, tank tops and beachwear are not permitted.

Experience live mariachi bands up to four evenings each week during the off-season and six nights a week during the high season.

Indulge in unforgettable upscale Mexican and international cuisine at our rooftop restaurant, where full-service dining is provided.

CHILDREN 4 yrs and younger are not allowed. This venue is not suitable for young children.
2 HOUR table limit for 6pm & 6:30pm reservations for parties of 4 or less however we have an area for you to enjoy music and drinks after your dinner if you are not ready to leave.

Amazing views, superb service and excellent food. Would highly recommend stopping in for dinner when in PV. Arturo our waiter was absolutely fantastic. He took our pictures, got us a decanter for our wine and was attentive throughout the meal. 5/5

Sin duda es un buen restaurante, muy buena comida y atencion. Los mejillones son excelentes. En general, considerando lo jactanciosos que son, esperaba mas.

Dinner at the Hacienda is always special due to the beautiful setting, and the mariachis. It is a bit pricey compared to other PV restaurants, but the food is very good — especially the short ribs. The sea bass is way overpriced. Definitely worth a visit to experience an old Mexican hacienda and hear the mariachis.

We never make a trip to Puerto Vallarta without including Hacienda San Angel in our dinner plans. We introduced our special place to our dear friends who were traveling with us and their mouths were agape in awe of this very special venue and experience. At first coming up the narrow cobble-stoned street, the taxi let us out and we had to climb up the sidewalk leading to the entrance. The large, solid wooden door is locked. I pull the rope which jingled the doorbell. It was eerie because the street had no people around and it was a bit scary. I'm glad it wasn't dark yet. After a few minutes , somebody finally opens the door to let us in. He had a list of reservations on a clipboard on which my name appeared. He checked us in. This is a house built in the 1950's featuring amazing statues, antique furniture, a working fountain, massive vines and bougainvillea trees immersed with hot pink blossoms. It has terracotta floors and a steep ceramic staircase leading to a religious worship area. Another staircase leads to the terrace where there are tables draped in white cloth and chairs for all the restaurant patrons. There is also a newer elevator installed for all us seniors who can't climb the steps. That was a very smart upgrade. On the rooftop terrace there is also a swimming pool with a stage covering a portion of it to allow for the most amazing performance of the mariachi band starting at 7:30. The hacienda also has rooms they rent out for guests. Attention to detail is evident throughout and it is immaculate! The tables are all set with fine china with the HSA insignia imprinted on the dinner plates. The view of the bay and cityscape into the mountain is lit up as we catch the sunset. The Waite staff attends to our every need. Marco is our lead waiter who is beyond professional and eloquent. We start with drinks and salads. A loaf of crusty hot bread was delivered to our table. A magical dining experience overlooking Puerto Vallarta Centro. Filet mignon is worth the price. Menu prices are on par with other high-end PV restaurants we have visited, but the quality, ambience and view, combined with the musical depth and talent of the mariachi band (trumpet, violins, guitars), took it to another level.
