The Halls Gap Hotel offers a range of services to suit every customer at any time of the year. During the warmer months you can take in the spectacular views of the ranges, over a refreshing drink, from the large and sheltered outdoor deck that wraps around the public bar and our large family bistro. In the colder months our warm log fires are lit to keep you comfortable over an intimate meal in the bistro.

For the kids we have a play area inside and a playground outside, both viewable from your bistro dining table.

We have dine at the Halls Gap Hotel every time we visit and have always enjoyed a lovely evening, however last pm we were very disappointed with the menu choice and the meals provided., no to mention the price that was attached to the meal. Whilst I understand that due to the recent fires they are trying to recover from lack of tourism for a pub this meal was very expensive and disappointing for what was served to our large group

Nice hotel walkable from Grampians Caravan Park. Food was reasonably priced and nice. The view was spectacular. Lots of kangaroos. Staff was friendly.

We did not stay to eat. We didn't realize it was self-order. We were seated and no one explained that everything had to be ordered at the bar. We even had to get our own water. Also, there were young children literally running at full speed around the restaurant. We decided this was NOT the place for a relaxing meal and went elsewhere.

Very unenjoyable experience. Upon our arrival for a family dinner of eight, we were told that management would appreciate if we could vacate our table (booked days in advance) in 75 minutes. I've never encountered such a short timeframe elsewhere. We were all looking forward to a good catchup over a relaxing meal, rather than cooking at home. Our table was located right next to the very long line of diners waiting to place their orders so there were always people standing right behind our chairs, very uncomfortable. Felt like we were not very welcome but an inconvenience shuffling us in and out quickly and regret spending money here. Food was okay, what you would expect from a pub. If you like a cafeteria environment, then you won't mind coming here, otherwise I don't recommend.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch after setting up our caravan. We haven’t been since the previous owners but we were pleasantly impressed with the choice on the menu. The food quality was great too. Definitely be back next time

Great pub with very quick service and top shelf pub meals. Views to match. Always come back when in Hall's Gap.

The meals came out quickly but the quality was not great, I had a chicken dish that had no flavor and quite tough. Quality has certainly dropped over the years.

We had a booking for 14 which was accommodated by an earlier dinner. Worked well as we had lots of children in our party. Food was quick and delicious. .service was fabulous. Playroom was very popular with the kids. A huge venue with lots of staff. Thoroughly recommended!!
