Exceptional dining experience. The menu is designed fully for you. The food is incredibly high quality. This was my second time at HARU. The first was so good, I had to come back! Service is consistently excellent. The sake pairing truly enhances the meal. The dessert was a matcha creme brulee. It has the most perfect sugar on top. It was the perfect crunch. We also added the wagyu as an add on. It was worth it! This is absolutely worth a try for a big night out or special occasion.

We didn’t know what to expect when we arrived at Haru. It was a wonderful experience. Each course was beautifully presented and delicious. We were told the menu will change every 6 weeks and we will certainly be back to check out what the chef creates. The fish was so fresh and great flavors. It would be hard to choose but I think the cuttlefish was my favorite.

A+!! Our experience was wonderful! I set up this surprise for my husband’s birthday. We arrived after dark so the restaurant didn’t even look open, which I actually liked! The set up of the restaurant was intimate, cozy and elevated. We arrived early and were able to have a seat in the little waiting area (two chairs and a small couch). We were greeted by Jeff who was able to set us up with drinks while we waited. We opted to do the Omakase experience under the bar seating with Head Chef Yudi and his team. There are only six seats at the bar, so make sure to make a reservation if you’d like the omakase experience (interact with chef + watch him prepare the meals + learn more about the food on an item by item basis). Highly recommend. My husband did a sake pairing for each “tour”. They call each course a tour! My husband is not a sake fan but he really enjoyed their selections. The food was incredible! There wasn’t one thing we didn’t love! The first tour of ceviche style salad and the matcha crème brûlée were my favorites! So many of the sushi selections were melt in your mouth, buttery soft! We highly recommend this experience, but just note, I’d say it is for more experienced diners (but don’t let that scare you away!) and expect to pay a decent amount and tip appropriately since they are all hands on deck to take care of you. The price was worth the experience for us! So happy we have a concept like this here.

Best sushi I’ve ever had - every bite! Sitting at the chef table was a bonus getting to hear about every serving and watching the sushi chefs at work with their art. Each piece was a work of art. And matcha crème brûlée - the bomb!!

A great new addition to the Columbus food scene! Every tour was explained by the staff and the seafood was fresh and delicious. You can tell there was a lot of time and effort put into this new restaurant, and the chef even went around and talked to guests. The ambience made the experience even better. The Matcha crème brûlée was delicious and I wish I could’ve taken 10 of them to go. Will definitely be back again!

An outstanding sushi an experience that isn't available anywhere else in the Columbus area right now. Incredibly fresh and well-prepared fish atop sushi rice that exceeded anything we've had in Ohio thus far. The opening course and dessert were fantastic as well. Everything was beautifully presented and the staff was warm and inviting. Excited to go again when the menu renews!

We absolutely loved our experience dining at HARU. It was a beautiful atmosphere, and the food was incredible. We appreciated every moment from start to finish, including the chef coming to check on our table and chat with us for a minute. We highly recommend it! The flavors you’ll encounter are unique and worth every penny.

From the moment you walk in, you’re in awe by their decor and service from host. They quickly seat you and bring you warm towels to wipe your hands. Shortly after the course tours starts, every single piece of sushi was so fresh with so much flavors in the mouth. You are able to upgrade your experience with their premium selections as well. They finish off with a generous size serving of the crème brûlée, which by the way, was one of the best I have had. We are excited to go back!
