   Every food item was perfectly prepared and Charles are waiter could not have been more expert in attentive. Somehow, even though the restaurant was very crowded, it was not especially noisy.

   We had a wonderful dinner last night. The entire experience was excellent — from the warm, inviting ambiance to the friendly, attentive service. Our waitress offered thoughtful recommendations that truly hit the mark. The food was outstanding. The Maine oysters were some of the best we’ve ever had — fresh, briny, and beautifully presented. The venison was the favorite of the night — perfectly cooked, with rich, balanced flavors. And to top it all off, when my daughter accidentally left her purse, they called us before we even reached the car — just five minutes away. A fantastic night all around!

   We arrived at 1:30 PM Saturday expecting to enjoy the restaurant week menu. We were very disappointed to learn that the beautiful patio area with the fireplace that we had requested was closed for renovations, so we were seated in a cramped area really close to other tables. Our excellent waiter came over and was attentive and ready to take our order. After viewing the limited restaurant week offerings we decided on brunch instead, My companion had a wonderful crab Benedict with bearnaise which they raved about. My entree, the chef's special was an omelette with a generous amount of plump sliced shrimp. The dish was tasty but would have benefitted from another egg, because it was a bit dry and didn't hold together on the plate.I forget what cheese it contained , but it was watery and didn't hold the omelette together either. This is a restaurant we really enjoy, so we will definitely return when the patio garden reopens.

   My second time at the restaurant and like the first time the service and food are excellent, Frank provided excellent service by recommending and explaining the DOB to me. 100% recommended.
