   First visit and lived up to our expectations. Friendly service at the bar beforehand. Arrived at our table and well looked after. Starters, steaks and wine outstanding. Thoroughly recommend for a special occasion.

   My second visit in a week, trying its Express menu - food quality was maintained, no compromise due to its set menu, cauliflower main was surprisingly good with a complex texture and full of flavours, though a veggie option. Oysters in both dinners tend to be small perhaps not the right season.

   The place is very nice, but we had to wait a long time for our food to be brought to us, almost an hour. And the waiter was not very friendly. The girls who served us before and after were very friendly. As for the food, everything was very good, although perhaps a little expensive.

   Amazing dining experience!!! We went to the Hawksmoor to celebrate my wife's birthday and from the moment we went in the door until we left was just perfect, the steak was exceptional perfectly cooked and the staff were so friendly and helpful and explained everything to us from the delicious cocktails to the amazing food. Definitely the best dining experience we ever had in any country we have been too. Magnificent, 5 stars and would absolutely go back when in Edinburgh again.!!!

   Excellent Sunday lunch, tender beef, monster Yorkie and great veggies. Service was first rate and relaxed, our starters and dessert were excellent too. We'll definitely be back!

    We had an absolutely amazing experience at Hawksmoor Edinburgh. From start to finish, everything was spot on. We went for the Sunday roast and it did not disappoint—the meat was incredibly tender, practically melting in our mouths. The Yorkshire pudding was perfectly done: fluffy on the inside with a satisfying crunch on the outside. And the bone marrow gravy? Next-level delicious. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely courteous. You can tell the staff take pride in what they do. It’s easily one of the best meals we’ve had in Edinburgh, and we’ll definitely be back!
