Tataki was a little over cooked. Sushi was excellent and good portion. Raw salmon amazing! I feel it is a bit over priced for the portion sizes of the appetizers. Overall though, the service was excellent. Patrick was our waiter and was friendly, courteous, and very attentive. Would recommend for a light dinner, atmosphere and service.

The Hidden Fish is a hidden gem. From the service provided by Patrick and Angela—which was impeccable—to the cocktails, food and ambience, we could not have had a more perfect experience. We loved it so much, we didn’t want to leave and spent three hours sampling the delicious menu. 😳 This is a fairly new spot in Skaneatles and it was our first time there. As a couple who have been to many great sushi spots, this one is especially fantastic. Go. Just go. Don’t hold us responsible if you can’t tear yourself away because you’re so well taken care of and just can’t get enough of Patrick and Angela’s recommendations. We love this place and can’t wait to come back when we visit Skaneatles next!

The staff was friendly but young and there didn’t appear to be much cohesion among them. We didn’t see anyone that was in charge. Our waiter/bartender was professional and friendly but seemed a little overtaxed. The food was good not overpriced except for rhe Wagyu beef which was delicious but a ridiculously tiny serving. The ambiance was very nice but overall we didn’t find the experience to be extraordinary.

New Years at the Hidden Fish was a 5 star experience. Extremely enjoyable 8 course service and drink pairing. Excellent service and attention to detail. We will enjoy future meals at this restaurant.

The food was outstanding and fresh. We have been to Sushi places in 50+ miles and this one is rated as equal to the best (one other!). I highly recommend it. Server was gracious and helpful - we put away 6 sushi rolls between my wife and I. We went for our wedding anniversary (33) and are very glad we did. - Not handicap accessible which was not a problem for us (yet!) but might be for others.

I think they changed some things - the rice cake with tuna is much larger than it was and was a challenge to eat without it falling apart. In general I think the sushi rolls could be cut in smaller portions - easier to pick up and eat.
