Where you're always on vacation!

The Highland House located in Mequon, Wisconsin has earned the reputation as the place to go on the North Shore for any and all occasions.     We ordered the combo platter appetizer. The food was just warm and the cheese wasn't melted. Tasted ok. Server was excellent.

    The food is tasty. We wished that there were more healthy options. Cheeses and bacon seem to be added to almost everything! We ordered the lettuce wraps - everywhere we’ve ever had them, they come assembled. Not here - we received a turine of soupy chicken and mushrooms, and then a half a head of lettuce, and we were left to our own devices.

    I’ve never had a bad meal at the Highland House. We’ve been dining there for decades. The chips and salsa are delicious. The food portions are plentiful and tasty and really well presented. Service is always excellent.

    Our server was fantastic! She was personable knowledgeable and energetic! We had a 92 yo with us and she knew exactly how to keep him happy. We also requested a quiet table and they fulfilled that request! Thank you! The food was good and we will definitely be back.

    We aren’t in the area often The server did a great job. They have a good selection of gluten free options on the menu. The food was great, especially the corn cakes. We will be back when we’re in the area again.
