Home Maid is a boutique breakfast and brunch restaurant serving classic American brunch foods in a lively, comfortable atmosphere featuring country-chic décor. Created in 2014 by brothers Derrick and Justin Faulcon as a way to share recipes that have been passed down through their family for generations, everything at Home Maid is cooked from scratch using a "small batch" philosophy. This means that only enough is made to serve between 15 to 20 people at a time, which is a rare practice in the restaurant industry. Home Maid is open Friday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fresh menu items include creamy grits with house sauce, topped with blackened shrimp; cornmeal waffle topped with fried chicken breast, served with sweet potatoes and maple syrup; sausage gravy with buttermilk biscuit; egg, bacon and cheese sandwiches; rosemary potatoes; eggs Benedict over a jumbo lump crab cake and more.
