Hotel Phillip Island situated in the heart of Cowes has some of the islands most finest dishes, ranging from a traditional Chicken Parma and Thai Beef Salad to our spectacular Prawn Linguini, Korean Fried Chicken and Ceviche. Created by our Executive Internationally trained Chefs.

So whether you're just looking for a quick bite fom one of our share plate options or something a little more exquisite, Hotel caters for everyone's needs.

We offer multiple dining options: FULL SERVICE in teh Bar and Restaurant areas (optional QR code ordering for large bookings) or Footpath and Deck tables overlooking our beautiful Westernport Bay (QR code ordering from tables) .

    Great location, decent food, pretty fast service. Very busy on the long weekend understandably, booking is a must, however, you can only book inside. Normally would not be negative in a review, read on for further details.We were turned away Saturday, they were really busy- understandable, the markets were on too. We booked for Monday night 8pm inside then upon arrival, we were encouraged to sit outside by the same server from Saturday who seemed not very friendly. we were happy to sit outside & were going to ask to anyway ! Had to ask them to clean the table when drinks were delivered, food from the last customers was all over it, (they didn’t offer to clean it. )We watched a group of four arrive just after us, get turned away - told the place is booked out, however when I went to the bathroom soon after it was evidently nearly empty inside and very clean tables set up for the next day. They started shutting down by 8:45- 9pm, assuming this is why the four were turned away, seemed to be enough staff on. Go early to snag a table in the sun or book early.

    Food, drinks and staff all year round for cocktails view and taste is hard to beat. This is our go to for lunch and dinner. Can take the dog too and sit outside.

    Emily’s service was outstanding, she made us feel very welcome and was prompt. Her service was incredible despite how busy it was. The food was exceptional, everything tasted incredible and didn’t have to wait long at all even on a very busy night. Love this place, will definitely be a regular customer!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Booked for New Year’s Eve dinner for 7 people. The food was excellent, however the service was really poor. We sat down around 7:10 (booking for 7:15), and our food order wasn’t taken until 8:30. All food came out in good time, one pizza didn’t come out until everyone had theirs for 15 minutes already as there was a mistake in the kitchen. I understand how busy restaurants and cafés can be around new years, but we felt as though the woman that we think was the gm was quite rude and dismissive. This has nothing to do with the miscommunication regarding being a dog friendly restaurant, the overall experience was disappointing as I have been to this pub in previous years and the service has been great.

    We shared: arachini balls ❤️ , koren chicken ❤️ muscles ❤️ Mains were fish n chips ❤️ rocket salad ❤️ chicken snichz ❤️ Thai beef salad 👎 chicken parmy ❤️ The service was great, the place was noisy but it was also Xmas holiday so it's expected. We will return in the future.
