   At arrival the hostess was on the phone looking down and didn’t acknowledge us. When she hung up the phone she walked away not saying a word and I thought maybe we should just leave if this is how our experience was starting. She came back shortly with a smile, asked about our reservation,then asked us for just a moment. We were sat in what felt like the sports bar section (brightly light with tvs in the corners on espn) at a high top even though my reservation on open table was for standard. Behind us was an area that was very ambient, decorated with lush hanging plants and vines and dimly lit, which would have been our preference for our anniversary weekend which was also stated in the reservation. Our server was delightful and arrived at the table promptly. She answered our cocktail questions, shared her thoughts on what she liked and made suggestions! She was great! The highlight of our night was when we asked her for oyster shots. She explained they didn’t have them but had made them by request before. The manager came over and asked how we liked them and voila, we were presented two perfect oyster shots! They were delicious and we appreciated the effort to accommodate us rather than just say no, which they could have easily done. We ordered oysters Rockefeller which were really good and better than some we have had in NOLA. The creole wings with sweet bourbon bbq were big and meaty with a good flavor. The cornbread tasted like cake and was one of our favorites. The creole ribeye was thin, tough and over cooked however the flavor was nice. The rice was flavorful and delicious as well as the asparagus. We planned on trying the Beignet Sunday which did look good but decided to save room and see what other places in the area had to offer. Overall it was the service we received once seated that made our experience a good one. I wouldn’t frequent house of creole but I would go back!

   Very good experience! It was our first time there and I will be returning. The food was fresh, we'll made and we'll seasoned. Our server Jasmine was very nice and helpful. I'm looking forward to returning and bringing more people. The BEST food I've had in a long time!!

   Food was great and portions are large. Online it states there is a dress code of business casual but most people were very dressed down.

   Service was great. Food was even better! Had the fried green tomatoes and bang bang shrimp for appetizers, the Creole bird and jambalaya for entrees with sides of the mac and cheese and corn bread. All were outstanding! We will definitely be back!

   Everything Was Great! Restaurant Was Nice. Our Server Was So Nice And Patient. She Explained Everything, Food Was Fabulous! Mimosas Were Great! Took My Husband There For His Birthday. We Definitely Will Be Back! Thank You!

   Came from out of town to try this place the only thing good was the salmon bites and beignets. Messed up both of my orders but supervisor did give me a discount for the inconvenience.

   We loved everything and went about 30 minutes after they opened. We didn’t have to wait for seating on a Saturday at 11:30am. It was however getting louder and busier by the time we left. The mixed drinks on come with 1 1/2 once of alcohol and may taste like juice. Other than that everything was very nice

   Very pleaaed with everything we ordered. Surf and turf egg rolls, spiced deviled eggs, creole wings, bang bang shrimp, Charbroiled oysters ( a little small) and the steak all seasoned to perfection!! I will be back.

   Catfish and grits always is on point. Had to wait for hot sauce though. . . Otherwise, service was excellent. Grilled oysters are jut OK for me, not on par with a Dragos in NOLA in my opinion. Jerk wings are the truth! Spicy!

    I reserved for a party of 5 at 7 o’clock. We walked in the restaurant at 7. A table was not ready at the time, the supervisor asked us if we wanted to wait at the bar until the table was ready. So we’re sitting at the bar and about a hr goes by so we ask about our table and they forgot about us! Fast forward, they didn’t have a table available. We didn’t get our food until about 9:45 pm, almost 3 HOURS LATER. Just was not a good experience at all.
