The bar is quite small but a very unique, intimate space. I would highly recommend the no.5 cocktail to anyone with a bitter sense of taste - it was lovely! Although quite expensive, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Really over priced, place looks lovely but the service was really bad. We had to keep trying to get someone attention. There was three people working and it was quiet but they were just chatting amongst themselves. Wouldn’t recommend at all

Cocktail Lounge The girl that served us was not helpful at all she was extremely rude to another customer. When she came to our table to take our drinks order we were not ready to order yet she rolled her eye at us. She kept on staring at us which made us feel very uncomfortable. I was so looking forward to our experience in there but we had one drink then left as we were very disappointed. The music was far to loud we could hardly hear each other when talking. Overall very disappointed

So the place looks stunning but the real stars are the staff and particularly the mixologists. Just so talented. Paloma Faith - you know who you are and I think you might just be the best cocktail maker in Edinburgh. You made it special. I thought the prices were good too for cocktails in a venue like that.

Loved our evening at the House of Gods. Our servers were really friendly and the £5 cocktail well special was fantastic.

A cool interior and seriously stylish drinks menu make this a memorable venue in all the right ways. But the vibe is friendly, rather than too cool for school, and that elevates House of Gods even higher.
