Welcome to Hungamaa, the home of delicious Indian cuisine in Manchester. Our expert chefs have mastered the art of creating authentic Indian dishes with various vegetarian twists, meaning no matter your dietary requirements, you can enjoy a range of delectable options.

Hungamaa is a delightful Indian restaurant in Chorlton offering a wide range of vegetarian and meat Indian dishes alike, from traditional favourites like samosas, daal makhani and butter chicken, small bite street food such as Pani Puri and Papadi Chaat to more exotic dishes like palak paneer and malvani fish curry. We also have an extensive selection of naan bread, roti, and other accompaniments to pair with your meal. Our talented chefs create these dishes with fresh and locally sourced ingredients, guaranteeing you a truly enjoyable experience.

    Food was not authentic, broiled meat, never seen a grill. The curry was not what we asked for with around 4 pieces of lamb. Very overpriced for the quality!

    Dear Kelly Thank you for taking the time to review us. It is sad that when our staff checked with you mid meal how was the food you decided not to mention any issues to the staff. We have a system of checking once the starters are served and again when the main course is served if everything is fine or not. This gives us chance to rectify, change and resolve any problems, issues with food or service and to make up for any shortcomings. Having said the above we are sad that we were not able to deliver a complete and satisfying dining experience on this occasion but we promise to make it up given a chance in the future. We invite you to try our mixed grill again with our compliments and we are confident you will enjoy it.

    Our third or fourth visit here, and it has always been great. Nice atmosphere, very efficient and friendly service, excellent food and choice. Will definitely be back again.

    Hungamaa gets it right every time. The staff are so friendly and well trained, the food is delicious, fresh, clean curries with amazing chaat selection to start. You really cannot go wrong. And a mega Chablis for £28!

    Well worth the journey out of the city centre. Extremely well accommodating for our group of 12. The food was flawless and at a great price. Super friendly staff.
