    Had a great dinner! Service is top notch, food is great. We started with the hummus platter which was delicious and then moved onto the chicken souvlaki and the chicken was super delicious tender. The salmon was also amazing and the prawns were delicious. It was nice as we booked last minute and they had seating available. Great underrated spot in downtown Vancouver

    I had another great meal at Hydra—delicious food with reasonable portions and good service. However, compared to my first visit, the service felt a bit less warm. Last time, our waiter was very attentive and engaging, making the experience even more enjoyable. This time, the service was still professional, but the waiter was a bit more reserved. It could have been a busy night, or just a difference in personality. That said, everything else about the restaurant remains excellent, and I still highly recommend it!

    Food was so salty but service is definitely outstanding. I was asked feedback about the food and the dishes we couldn’t finish was taken off of the bill afterwards. I’d definitely revisit and ask them not too put any additional salt into the food, pretty sure they’ll nail it next time

    We went twice in one day. First for happy hour oysters & wine and later for dinner. Everything was amazing!
