   An Unforgettable Evening Made Even Better by Parker S. Once a month, my girlfriends of 36+ years and I get together to catch up, laugh, and enjoy a wonderful meal. Last night, we chose i.d. — and while the food was truly exceptional, it was our server, Parker S., who made the evening unforgettable. Parker is not just a great server — he excels at what he does. From the moment we were seated, he elevated our entire experience with care, professionalism, and genuine warmth. At the start of the evening, we let him know that one of us has a life-threatening allergy to pine nuts. Not only did he take this seriously, but we soon found out that Parker is also a nurse. That awareness and compassion shone through in how he handled the situation: offering an alternate menu if needed and ensuring we felt safe and cared for throughout the night. Beyond that, Parker was personable, knowledgeable, and wonderfully attentive without ever hovering. His humor, charm, and timing were impeccable. We sampled at least nine beautifully prepared, house-made dishes — each one a delight — and sipped on unforgettable drinks, including a ginger turmeric tea with warmed organic syrup, French press coffee, and a variety of cocktails. We stayed well past our reservation time, paid with several credit cards, and never once felt rushed or inconvenienced. Parker handled everything with grace and ease. i.d. is lucky to have Parker on their team — and so are the patients he supports in his nursing career. He is, without a doubt, a gem.

   Food quality, freshness, and taste was delicious. The perfect tapas portions, artfully plated, and expertly described on menus. Loved every bite! We had the Korean Beef lettuce wraps and Duck with rice Noodles. Will come back and try other items we were too full to try this round.

   I.D. is my ‘go to’ restaurant when I’m looking for intriguing, fresh and flavorful food… especially when guests come into town! The staff is friendly and helpful, the service is on point and the food never disappoints!

   I love I.D. and have eaten here many times so I will be back because this time was not the norm. The food was great as always, but the service was disappointing. Our server only came by to check on us once during our meal, forgot to enter in a drink, left our waters empty, and we sat waiting for the check.

   This is for the Thai dinner event specifically. Some options ran out and the food we got was not up to the quality that keeps me coming back to i.d. harsh to say, but this was probably our least favorite meal at I.d.

   I.d. is a rare combination of perfect atmosphere and amazingly palatable food offerings. The bar is lengthy and gorgeous. Seating is generous both inside and outside. The staff is kind, courteous and knowledgeable. Don't pass on this tucked away gem in the heart of downtown Delafield.

   Mike is always wonderful - he chooses the most amazing wine pairings and is just superb! We shared the plates between 4 of us and tried some new ones like the lamb and scallops. Both were excellent and you can’t go wrong with truffle fries. Bartender was also fantastic and made a great dirty martini and brandy old fashioned.

    We had a lovely experience last night. Our server was fabulous and the noise level that I just rated was not a problem. It was just lively and the right amount and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We absolutely love the shared and small plates.
