ItalX, an avant-garde Italian restaurant, is now open for weekend lunch and dinner six days a week at City Center. The restaurant is located at 160 West Main Street. The team draws inspiration from Italy's emphasis on simple, fresh, quality ingredients and inspired hospitality in a warm and inviting space. A twist on traditional Italian fare, the menu will feature multiple scratch-made pastas, reimagined small plates, vegetarian and gluten-free offerings, and everyone's favorite desserts. Popular Italian dishes will be reinvented with elegant presentation. ItalX's bar program offers extensive Italian wines from all regions of 'the Boot' and an inventive cocktail list, backed by house-made ingredients and Italian liqueurs.

    The food and the service, as always, was excellent. Service is very attentive, without hovering, and very professional. The selection is varied, even for my wife who is vegetarian. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an enjoyable dinner experience.

    We still consider it one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Lexington. I had the gnocchi quatro formagio. Fantastic. My husband had the lasagna. Delicious.

    Felt nickel and dined…$9 extra for bread, $3 for butter, really. 2 cocktails, 2 salads, 2 glasses wine and 2 entrees (spaghetti/meatballs & pasta w/“bay” scallops) $180.00 including tip. Pretty outrageous we thought.
